I’m sure you already know that Room at the Table Inc is a Not For Profit organisation / social enterprise that offers a range of non sport geek subculture activities including modern boardgames, costuming & cosplay, roleplaying games, trading card games and studio productions.
What you might not know is why we do these things. While getting together to do these things is awesome fun – this in itself would be enough reason for RATT to exist – our underlying aim is to reduce social isolation by building connections and community. Our vision is all about creating a space where everyone is welcome, where people connect and build relationships through playing, creating and learning.
If you believe in making our local community a better place, especially for those people who are often excluded from other activities for whatever reason, then there are plenty of opportunities through Room at the Table. It doesn’t matter if you have lots of time and experience to offer, or if you have never volunteered before and can only spare an hour a week – there is a space for you at RATT.

Please note: Some volunteer roles carry more responsibility, and require that the volunteer becomes a member of the Room at the Table Inc, reads and understands the Volunteers Agreement, and submits a Volunteer Application. We will let you know if this applies to you.
All volunteers must be aged 15 or over.
